This past week, Global Impact Innovators (GII) was honored to be part of the Africa Tech Summit (ATS)—a gathering of forward-thinking entrepreneurs and organizations using technology to drive Africa’s future.
At GII, we believe in technology and entrepreneurship as catalysts for economic empowerment. ATS provided an invaluable space to engage with changemakers, exchange ideas, and strengthen our commitment to impactful collaborations.
Key Partnerships & Learnings
During the summit, we connected with organizations shaping agriculture, AI, and cloud computing in Africa. Each partnership reaffirmed our belief that collaboration fuels sustainable impact.
✅ Ignitia – AI-driven hyper-local weather forecasting for smallholder farmers. GII sees this as a vital tool for rural farmers to adapt to climate challenges and boost productivity.
✅ SAIS – Scaling Digital Agriculture Innovations through Start-ups – A program by GIZ supporting agri-food, climate, and health startups. GII is exploring ways to leverage SAIS’s accelerator support to scale agricultural innovations in underserved areas.
✅ VC4A – A global platform connecting startups with mentors and investors. GII aims to collaborate to improve rural entrepreneurs’ access to funding and business growth opportunities.
✅ Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) – Supporting Japanese businesses expanding into Africa. GII is excited about opportunities to connect African entrepreneurs with Japanese technology and innovation.
✅ Amazon AWS Cloud Services – Enabling scalable cloud solutions. GII is exploring how AWS can help expand digital learning and AI-driven agricultural tools in rural communities.
✅ AWS Startups – Offering cloud-based startup support. GII looks forward to leveraging AWS Startups’ tools to help African entrepreneurs innovate and scale effectively.
