Our Founder
Charles Kebbi
Charlie Kebbi is a seasoned entrepreneur and product management expert with a successful track record in the tech industry. He previously founded two startups and held senior positions at Microsoft and IBM, where he gained valuable experience in developing and launching innovative AI products even before the current AI boom. Recognizing the immense potential of Africa’s rural communities and the need to bridge the digital divide, Charlie embarked on a transformative journey across the continent in 2023. This firsthand experience ignited his passion to empower rural youth and women through accessible tech education and entrepreneurship opportunities.
Driven by this vision, Charlie founded GII Africa, an organization dedicated to unlocking the potential of rural communities across the continent. His journey from a successful corporate career to a life dedicated to social impact exemplifies GII Africa’s mission to transform lives and empower individuals to become agents of change within their communities.
